PERKATA Association
Empowering through creativity
In 2024, Green Generation Sdn Bhd partnered with OCI TerraSus Sdn Bhd and PERKATA Association, i.e. a Sarawak-based association dedicated to serving and empowering children with disabilities, to host a flower arrangement workshop in Kuching, Sarawak.
The session featured a live demonstration by a disabled florist from OCI Dream, a standardised inclusive workplace for persons with disabilities. Beyond the craft itself, the florist shared a deeply personal account of navigating the world of floristry despite physical limitations, a story that resonated strongly with the children in attendance and left a lasting impression on all who were present.
This collaboration sits at the heart of a formal Memorandum of Understanding between Green Generation and PERKATA, which formalises our shared commitment to supporting educational activities for persons with disabilities and advancing eco-friendly energy initiatives within their communities.
Our partnership with PERKATA also extends to fundraising: together with OCI TerraSus Sdn Bhd and the Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC), we raised and donated RM200,000 to PERKATA. A contribution directed toward sustaining and expanding the programmes that serve their community.

Green Scholarship Program 2024
Green Generation believes that the leaders of tomorrow's green economy must be supported today. In partnership with Universiti Malaya, we sponsored two Sarawakian STEM students with RM20,000 to open doors to international academic and professional exposure for young Malaysians with a passion for sustainability.
Both scholars will soon be joining us as interns at Green Generation, bringing with them fresh perspectives and the experience gained through their scholarship journey. We look forward to growing alongside them.
